Velvet Noir selected as a grantee for The JLH Social Impact Fund!
[New Orleans, La. July 6, 2021] — Velvet Noir Beard & Skin has been chosen as a Grantee for the Jrue and Lauren Holiday Social Impact Fund. 50 Non-Profit and For Profit organizations were chosen out of over 2,000 applications.
The JLH Social Impact fund not only will give us funding to help grow our business on a larger scale but they will also provide us with business guidance in the form of coaching, mentorship, and training. We are so blessed to be given this opportunity and we can’t wait to get to work and see the growth within the company.
Here is a little bit of who and what The JLH Fund serves and purpose is. “The Jrue and Lauren Holiday Social Impact Fund (JLH Fund) is offering a second round of funding to underserved black-owned businesses and nonprofits. The focus of the grants will be in the Greater Milwaukee, New Orleans, Indianapolis, and Los Angeles areas with priority given to organizations focused on social impact and creating a more equitable future for underserved communities.”
